At Bustan Thom, we are committed and actively working towards promoting accessibility to enable people with disabilities and special needs to use and enjoy the range of services we offer to all our customers at service and sales points, on the website, and at call centers.

About a quarter of the population in Israel encounters difficulties accessing the internet: people with visual impairments, hearing impairments, motor disabilities, the elderly, and more.

In order to provide the best, professional, and accessible service to everyone, we have made the necessary adjustments to our website and implemented accessibility guidelines as much as possible in accordance with the Israeli accessibility standard principles, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 5773-2013 (Standard 5568 Accessibility), based on WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

Website accessibility is adapted to leading browsers: Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

We have invested significant resources to ensure that our site is easier to use and more accessible to people with disabilities, firmly believing that everyone has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.

We provide you with an advanced accessibility component from UserWay, a website accessibility tool powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software enables the site to improve its compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

You can activate the UserWay accessibility menu by clicking on the accessibility menu icon that appears in the corner of the page.

The accessibility menu and technology deployed on the site offer many options such as: screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, font enlargement, stopping animations, contrast adjustments, highlighting links, font change, and many other options. The accessibility plugin supports screen reader software such as JAWS, NVDA, and more.

We continue to strive to improve website accessibility as part of our commitment to enable its use for the entire population, including people with disabilities and special needs. It should be noted that despite our efforts to make all pages on the site accessible, you may encounter parts that have not yet been accessible.

It is important to note that Bustan Thom is a nonprofit organization (located on a farm) that operates a digital site for the purpose of transferring information and activities to the public interested in visiting the association.
